This is a treasure which would be a great gift for a prayer warrior in your life. It is an antique book entitled Selected Prayers for All Occasions. A Help for Private Devotions, Family Worship and Public Prayer. It was produced by the Saalfield Publishing Company with a Copyright of 1911. The prayers were compiled by A.L. Clinton, D.D. The title page also includes: Daily Prayers for Private Use, for the Church Sunday School, Prayer and Worker's Meetings, Family Groups, Easter, Christmas and Special Days of Devotion, Etc.

The Preface of the book starts as follows;
"There is only one reason justifying the publication of this book of Prayers, and that is the fact that many Christians, those old in the faith as well as the young, find it difficult to offer prayers in private, in the family circle, and even to a greater extent in public."

This book is in really nice condition considering the age. All the pages are still tightly held by the binding but it has loosened over time and there is a slant to the cover boards. The cover board are covered in red fabric and the front has an embossed design. The graphics are in black. The corners and edges of the cover are a bit scuffed. The pages have darkened slightly with age but no rips, tears or writing in the book on any pages. A few dog eared corners on the pages. Wonderful red edges to the pages. 161 pages including an Index in the back.
