Moving into fall colors and tones for decorating is one of my favorite seasonal changes. Halloween is a nice focal point at the end of that timeframe as well. But, I have always, even as a little girl, been frightened by Halloween "spookiness". This year I have been on the hunt for items that could be used in Fall and Halloween decorating that are fun, light hearted and definitely unique. I have quite the collection brought together. Each item will be posted separately, accompanied by a few photos of vignettes with other items to spark your creativity.

Well, if this doesn't meet the criteria of a fun pop of orange color for Halloween décor, I don't know what does. An authentic vintage Ann Page Pure Ground Curry Powder tin, filled to the brim with curry powder, manufactured by The Great A&P Tea Company, in New York, NY. This little metal can has a screw off lid and a paper label with the Ann Page logo and wonderful retro orange and brown colors.
The paper is torn along the top edge from the initial opening of the container but it sure doesn't seen like much was used. And it still smells wonderful!

This metal lid has oxidation and the start of rust spots. The paper label has usage and age spots but is still in nice shape other than the top edge ripping.
