Moving into fall colors and tones for decorating is one of my favorite seasonal changes. Halloween is a nice focal point at the end of that timeframe as well. But, I have always, even as a little girl, been frightened by Halloween "spookiness". This year I have been on the hunt for items that could be used in Fall and Halloween decorating that are fun, light hearted and definitely unique. I have quite the collection brought together. Each item will be posted separately, accompanied by a few photos of vignettes with other items to spark your creativity.

This vintage 1940s Bokar Coffee Tin has been around quite a while and is ready to add that touch of vintage black to your Halloween display. The front and back of the tin read: Freshly Roasted Bokar Ground to Order Coffee A & P Coffee Service One Pound Net Weight. In between this copy is the Bokar Coffee Supreme logo with a steaming cup of coffee and The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co Main Office New York NY

The bottom on the can is shiny gold with no other markings. The silver metal top indicates Turn to Open with directional arrows.

This can is in very good vintage condition, especially for an everyday item. There are scratches in the black paint, put no dents. The lid has a dustiness to the metal but it works really well. The inside of the can is really clean. One side of the Bokar Coffee can is easy to read and makes a nice display. The other side has more paint scuffing and the beginning of a rust spot near the bottom.
