Moving into fall colors and tones for decorating is one of my favorite seasonal changes. Halloween is a nice focal point at the end of that timeframe as well. But, I have always, even as a little girl, been frightened by Halloween "spookiness". This year I have been on the hunt for items that could be used in Fall and Halloween decorating that are fun, light hearted and definitely unique. I have quite the collection brought together. Each item will be posted separately, accompanied by a few photos of vignettes with other items to spark your creativity.

Came across this little tin, just in time for the Halloween season as the colors. The front is labeled "Elastoplast Elastic Adhesive Antiseptic First Aid". The copy continued with Consisting of Medicated Gauze Pad, Bismuth Subgaliate 2/3% on Zinc Oxide Elastic Plaster. Made in England by T. J. Smith & Nephew Ltd., London, Hull, Manchester, Glasgow. On the front lip is Keep in a Cool Place. No copy on the back. Most likely 1950's origin. In good condition with light wear, scuffs and scratches to the reddish-orange background. Fastens firmly shut when closed. The tin is empty; nothing inside. The metal of the back is quite oxidized but little to no rust.
