I love this sweet vintage needlepoint of a yellow school bus filled with kids. The color scheme is so retro 1970's, but it still works. My favorite part is the jumble of children in the back of the bus with so many smiles! You can hear the laughter when you look at the piece.

This would be the perfect little accent piece in a child's playroom, on the mantel to celebrate back to school, or as a gift for a special teacher in your life, or the life of your child. If they appreciate vintage items, they will love this! This piece is in beautiful condition. No stitching loss or stains on the needlepoint. There are areas where the needlepoint surface can be seen through the stitches, primarily due to the large stitch profile of the piece, but you have to look closely to notice. They are not apparent when displayed.

The frame is an antiqued soft green wood frame, ready to hang and enjoy. The back is covered with a plaid contact paper that is very expertly placed on the frame. There is a black magic marker mark on the top left hand corner of the back which I believe is covering over the original price. Probably sold at a arts and craft show in the 1970's.
