The first word that came to mind when I found this piece was - sweet. This is a simple cross stitch of a sweet red roofed house with a flower design underneath and a cute blue and yellow check border. This "granny-chic" look is making a huge come back and this piece does not disappoint. Know someone with a new house - what a charming gift for them!

It is framed with a simple light oak frame and has a bit of a clumsy backing. The oak frame is a bit dry and has a few random color marks. The original hanger is in place at the center of the back. I think it could really be enhanced by moving to a unique vintage frame and stretching the canvas better when framing. The piece has a few wrinkles in the surface due to the "clumsy" framing job.
